aMPLIFYING VOICES, EMPOWERING CHANGE

Pedro ViLlalobos

As President of AFSCME 1624, Pedro brings his lived-experience as a formerly undocumented person, first-generation college graduate and lawyer. He is a strong community advocate fighting to building bridges, both within the union and with external stakeholders seeking to achieve common goals. Pedro has worked with city council, commissioners court, members of congress, and U.S. Presidents on issues impacting working people.

PEDRO’S PRIORITIES FOR AFSCME 1624

Pedro will fight FOR a city teleworking policy that benefits our members, FOR county civil service protections, and FOR a market study that raises wages. The past year saw AFSCME 1624 being caught flat-footed on many issues that harmed our members. Pedro intends to be proactive in our advocacy so that we receive optimal outcomes.
